I have been learning to write a narrative. A narrative is a made up story. I really enjoyed making up the characters lines because most of the lines are funny. Something I found challenging was to write events in the story that would interest the reader. My next step is to continue the story.

I am learning to find grammar and vocabulary mistakes. I found i easy because the mistakes were underlined by the computer.

I am learning to write a Moment in time. I enjoyed writing in all the funny scenes that I could remember.

Wonder-Making a prediction

Reflection
I am learning to make a prediction based on the cover and blurb, and the lyrics of the trailer. I found this hard because I kept having preconceive thoughts on what to write because I had already read the book and I did not want to write as if I had already read the book. My next step is to think harder about what I should write.

Alphabetical Symmetry Challenge

WALT find the lines of symmetry on letters. I enjoyed trying to find lines of symmetry of the alphabet because it's a bit challenging trying to draw all the lines of symmetry by mouse. My next step is to draw more accurate lines.

My Speech 2019

My Reflection

I have been learning to write a persuasive speech.

I found finding facts to support my opinions challenging because there were not many facts that were related to my opinion.

Something I learnt was that cognitive means the process of thinking and reading. I enjoyed to present my speech to the class but I felt a little nervous for the finals after I did after I did.

My next step is to add stronger reasons to my speech.

Maui And The Fish

IALT find and summarize information by retelling main events in a text.

Something I did well is summarize the main parts of the story.
I found this easy because I have already read the story twice and memorized it.
My next step is to shorten the story so that the summary is not too long and boring.

Converting Improper Fractions to Mixed Fractions

I am learning to convert improper fractions to mixed fractions using my multiplication facts. I had to convert improper fraction in to mixed fractions using my multiplication facts. I thought it was easy because I learnt how to do it on the mat with the teacher. My next step is to find a faster, more efficient way to convert between improper and mixed fractions.

My Reflection

 I have been learning to write a variety of sentences to use in my stories to make them more interesting for my readers . My favourite sentence type was the two word sentence because it was very easy but it was challenging to think of two words that make sense by themselves. A sentence I found tricky was the five word sentence because I am not use to using five letter sentences I like long ones. My next step is to use a variety of interesting sentences in my writing.

I have been learning to make a justified prediction about a text based the cover and blurb we read. We read on a novel called Treetop Treasures. My prediction about the story was accurate because I chose the most important information in the story. I found this easy because learned a lot about the story using the cover and blurb plus illustrations. My next step is to make simple inferences about what I read.

I have been learning to understand decimal value.I fund this easy because I have prior knowledge of ordering decimals. My next step is to figure out the problems faster.

I have been learning link ideas (both implicit and explicit) in the text so I get a greater understanding of the story. I find this easy because i can memorize lot's of what i have read. My next step is to link ideas fluently.

Statistical Investigation

My Reflection 
 I have been learning to use the statistical inquiry cycle to carry out an investigation. My investigation was to find out what was the most Favorited pet between multiple classrooms in our school. I was surprised that most people liked dogs and turtles. I found asking people the most challenging part because people took long to make the decision. I now know how to make a bar chart on a google sheet then transfer it to a google drawing. I am not sure about if I can change the list to list b without practice though. My next step is to display data using a different chart.
